Product delivery and team transformation for Notting Hill Genesis, one of London’s largest not-for-profit housing associations
NHG needed to shift the digital maturity of team members and deliver more useful, useable and effective PowerBI reports to increase value and adoption across the business.
We started working with them in early 2023, offering a combination of co-creation and mentoring to improve the quality of their reports and how their teams define and create them.
What did we do?
Monthly mentoring for key team members, supporting their personal development and empowering them with best practice digital process.
Strategic sessions and mentoring with managers and department leads.
Weekly ‘stand-up’ team sessions to embed project process and provide objective support.
Delivery of a critical project for the business, via collaborative design sprints with the team.
Creation of a design style guide to ensure all reports are on-brand and user-friendly.
Creation of a framework with Mural templates and video tutorials, in collaboration with the team, for how to deliver successful digital projects, that is now championed across the organisation.
“It’s been great! I appreciate the efforts of both Becky and Ollie. It’s changed my mindset when creating new products and the importance of interviewing members for requirements, testing, and validation. The success story is: we have created a product and I have been promoted to a manager!”
Muhammed Omer Asiliskender, Data Team Manager, Notting Hill Genesis
“We wanted to shift the data maturity of individuals and make a lasting change, upskilling to be a great product team that better serves the customer and delivers successful outcomes. Our work with Becky and Ollie has surpassed my expectations and the Co-creation really changed things. I can see the wider growth in confidence amongst all those mentored. A recently launched product, using the team’s new skills, has doubled its user-engagement compared to historic usage, and one team member’s recent work saved the business £40,000 in just the first month of a new initiative- that’s a serious impact.”
Adam Cresser, Director of Data, Analytics and Digital, Notting Hill Genesis.
