Training in context is the best way to learn, so tell us about your next project and we’ll lead the team through a series of practical activities that will ensure they get from project start to finish efficiently and successfully.

Your team will:
Clearly define project goals and problems and understand the audience.
Distil and translate what they learn into clear actions for how to improve or deliver the project and get the results you want.
Rapidly prototype a high-fidelity new version of your product and test it with real users to ensure it is fit for purpose before it gets built.
Iterate and handover to the development team so they can build and ship it.
This all happens within a matter of weeks. It requires autonomous decision-making from an assigned team member, significant availability from all of the team, comms tools like Slack or Teams, daily and weekly collaboration with the team and stakeholders/users.

Mentoring
Guidance to empower team and individual growth
Our mentoring program combines expert guidance on digital skills with calm, empathetic support for personal growth. We work closely with your team members, helping them build confidence, solve project challenges, and embed better UX processes to make projects more efficient and impactful.
Having Becky and Ollie as experienced, objective mentors empowers your team to tackle day-to-day issues and provides a safe space to discuss personal development and any challenges holding them back. Together, we help your team grow and succeed — both professionally and personally.
We begin with:
Understanding your needs - workshops with you and management, and the team separately, to better understand the bigger picture and team, set goals and discuss measurement.
Understanding the mentees - interviews and a diagnostic to assess their competency, map their current skills and characteristics, and discuss their goals and personal development for the mentoring.
Mentoring consists of:
1:1 remote mentoring with an experienced consultant on a fortnightly basis.
Email and Slack/Teams support for each mentee in between sessions.
Reflection journal to assist the mentee in their development.
Mentoring record and feedback collection to measure the progress and success of the programme.
1:1 remote support sessions with managers of the team we are mentoring - often growth and skills development is just as important at this level as with the team.
Strategic review sessions with the leadership team to discuss mentee progress and support delivery of your vision.
Mentoring requires a minimum of 6-12 months investment to ensure significant progress is made.

Product delivery and team transformation for Notting Hill Genesis, one of London’s largest not-for-profit housing associations
NHG needed to shift the digital maturity of team members and deliver more useful, useable and effective PowerBI reports to increase value and adoption across the business.
We started working with them in early 2023, offering a combination of co-creation and mentoring to improve the quality of their reports and how their teams define and create them.
What did we do?
Monthly mentoring for key team members, supporting their personal development and empowering them with best practice digital process.

3-month intensive mentoring program to upskill H&M’s 6 new product designers
In collaboration with Coteam, we were brought in to mentor H&M’s new product teams. H&M had recently restructured and needed help to support 6 of their product designers to upskill in UX practice and embrace their new roles with confidence.
We delivered a combination of weekly mentoring with product designers, talks and workshops on subjects such as workload management, research and sprints. Our work was combined with a learning specialist and wellbeing coach to provide a holistic programme of support and development for the individuals.
The process started and ended with competency assessment and progress reviews to ensure the team members progressed to where they needed to be.
Weekly 1-2-1 mentoring, with Teams and email support in between.
Expert training workshops with Q&A on subjects such as research, testing and sprints.
